Danube Kayak

If you explore the Danube by kayak, from the northern part of Budapest past Romái Párt, after just a little kayaking, you will find yourself in practically untouched nature. The river is wide but safe, with ducks often swimming beside us. I can recommend the Danube kayak trip as a two-hour, half-day program. This is an excellent way to explore Szentendre and the Danube Bend. Come on, let’s get paddling!

The time is different, the space is different … Only 20 minutes from the city center, only tranquility and closeness to nature remain. That’s why I love being on the water.

The Ráckevei-Soroksári Dunaág is a 57 kms long bench of the big and old Danube river. The bench is very popular among the water sport lovers as the water is almost still, the twist is very little. It’s a safe place to start for beginners and fall in love with paddling.

During this half day trip, we visit romantic narrow lagoons where we explore the river and all its creatures. If you are lucky and keep your eyes open, you can spot water fowl, sunbathing turtles and even fish underwater.
